Project Name: Gaia Protocol – Regenerative Intelligence for Planetary Futures
Overview:
Gaia Protocol is an ethics-driven environmental intelligence system developed under Horizon Europe and LIFE. It combines artificial intelligence, simulation, and real-time data to help municipalities validate climate strategies, engage citizens, and build resilience against the climate crisis.
Gaia Protocol combines AI, symbolic simulation, and real-time data to help municipalities validate their Net Zero strategies, engage citizens, and prepare for climate resilience. It transforms ambitious goals into verifiable, costed, and actionable plans.
In July 2025, Gaia Protocol simulated the Net Zero strategies of ten leading C40 cities — including Amsterdam, Berlin, New York, Paris, Seoul, and Tokyo.
The results were eye-opening:
For example, Tokyo’s plan proved highly efficient (€8.70 per tonne of CO₂ reduced), while Berlin’s showed vast untapped potential (79.6 Mt CO₂ if optimized).
By joining Gaia Protocol, municipalities gain access to:
✅ Predictive Dashboards – Real-time climate and emissions modelling
✅ Citizen Engagement Tools – Mobile app for local climate actions, verified for impact
✅ IoT Infrastructure – Sensors for air, water, heat, mobility, and coastal monitoring
✅ Compliance-Ready Reporting – Supports SDG, ESG, and EU funding requirements
✅ Zero-Cost Participation – Fully funded under Horizon Europe and LIFE
Cities are already exploring Gaia Protocol to protect against sea-level rise, flooding, and heat risks. Without immediate action, exposed urban areas could face irreversible damage within the next 15–20 years.
Gaia Protocol offers municipalities a chance to act now, with no financial burden, and lead Europe’s transition toward sustainable, regenerative futures.
