Of what use is our knowledge if we do not share it with those around us? OTI and all of its subsidiaries, members, networks and staff focus most of our energy on education, allowing ourselves to learn more from each other and also for us to teach what we have learned to others.
Some of our main focus areas in Education
Youth Education – Helping young people through a variety of activities including formal, non-formal and informal methodologies to increase their skills, knowledge and competences. We are continuously developing new methodologies to increase the impact on youth education. Working with you allows us to understand their problems and their needs and then develop solutions for these problems.

We offer a variety of courses which allow adults to gain skills for personal and professional development. Our adult courses are developed to deliver usable skills in a variety of fields.
Cultural Education – In order for our world to develop and grow we need to first understand the roots of the people who inhabit it. In order to understand this we need to understand the culture, the customs and traditions and also the roots of all our cultures so that we can understand that as people of this world we are more connected than we think. Our aim is to help people from all corners of the world to embrace their culture and to share it with others. We undertake a variety of activities and events in the areas of cultural promotion and education from youth projects to cultural festivals and exhibitions.
Environmental education – Our homes, our towns, cities and countries make up our environment. We strive to preserve and protect our environment in every way and not only for human sustainability but for all means of life on our planet. By researching every element of our environment and understanding all aspects of life, we can start to education our children, our peers, our parents and our teachers on the value of environmental sustainability and preservation.
Health Education – Promoting a healthy life is a main priority as it fits into our goal of preserving life in all forms. A large area of education is focused on healthy living and making the correct lifestyle choices and this is achieved through a variety of training courses, activities and events which help educate people of all ages on the important issues relating to health.
Human Education – Human education is a term we developed when developing a series of courses which focus on issues that affect human life. These include active citizenship, discrimination, human rights, xenophobia, drug abuse and many other fields that affect us in different ways all over the world. By dealing with people from all over the world we can learn from them and understand them better and help educate people on all the issues that are important to them and us.
